Ontario
Since the mid-1920s, Alex Pringle enjoyed his weekends spent painting at various locations around southern Ontario. With the farm near Acton as his base, he captured everyday scenes as well as the natural beauty of the countryside. Painting trips were also made farther afield, in the company of like-minded fellows. There were no limitations with regard to the seasons - Alex loved to capture the essence of Canadian living in all seasons.
